Donations
The Choir is a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization, and all donations are completely tax-deductible. The Texas Children's Choir relies on community support to meet its mission of training children to provide high quality choral music and inspirational performances in the local, state, national, and international community. As a member of the community, we solicit your support to assist us in purchasing basic needs for the work of these very dedicated children.
The children are in need of a new sound system and risers. Your financial support and donations will help to purchase a new sound system ($2500) and an additional set of risers ($800). Additionally, although we make every effort to keep operating expenses very low with a staff and directors who are volunteers, some children do not have the financial means to cover their expenses. However, they have the skill and desire to participate. We would like to establish a scholarship fund to allow some of these young singers to participate and to assist them with their monthly dues, their performing outfits, and transportation costs to commute to rehearsals from long distances.
Please know that your donations are fully tax deductible, and you may direct your donation toward the purchase of a new sound system/risers, or towards the scholarship fund. You will receive a thank you letter documenting the donation and which can also be used for tax purposes.
