Auditions

• Auditions are held at Olympia Elementary School, 8439 Athenian, Universal City, Texas.
• All auditions must be scheduled in advance, for more information call Dr. Hardaway at (210) 804-1804 or
  E-mail: tghardaway@yahoo.com.
• Auditions are currently being accepted for boys and girls ages 9 -13, who can sing soprano or alto.
• Candidates are asked to prepare a 1-2 minute song, bringing either a CD or a piano score for accompaniment. In addition to basic musical skills, positive, bright attitudes and respectful behavior are important selection factors.

Audition Requirements

Candidates should be willing:

• To sing for civic, community, charity, and military command events.
• To work hard for 1 1/2 hours twice weekly, with monthly Saturday rehearsals.
• To learn music theory, ear training, and performance technique.
• To work as full team members in a close group.

Candidates should be:

• Able to sing on pitch, repeat back melodies and rhythms.
• Outgoing with service-oriented attitudes.
• Available to travel.

Choristers will learn music of varied musical styles, utilize self-discipline, and learn to work closely as a team.

Parents are expected to support them and to work closely with each other.
